Vettel takes pole in Abu Dhabi
World Champion Sebastian Vettel pulled out a sensational lap at the death to take pole position from Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.He matched Nigel Mansell’s record of 14 pole positions after taking pole today

As usual the 6 drivers from the ”new” teams were knocked out with Kovalainen once again been the fastest of them.Barrichello didn’t even set a time after an oil leak problem in FP3 meant he couldn’t get out in time to set a laptime.

Hamilton went fastest again in this session with the fastest time of the weekend which would not be beaten in Q3,from Vettel by less than a tenth of a second.
The 2 Sauber’s,Toro Rossos,Renaults(these 6 were covered by 4 tenths) and Pastor Maldonado were knocked out in this session.

Hamilton went fastest on the first run in this session by less than half a tenth from Vettel,with Webber 3rd and Button 4th.
Button then went much faster on his second run and briefly took pole before Hamilton then went 0.009 faster to take pole but behind them Vettel was on a stormer and he went fastest by over a tenth of a second.
Webber didn’t improve so was 4th,from Alonso,Massa,Rosberg,Schumacher,Sutil and Di Resta,Paul didn’t run in Q3.
