Toro Rosso and Force India go for youthful line-ups,will it work?

Toro Rosso:Last week most F1 fans were left completely stunned and some even angered when Toro Rosso announced that Jean Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo were replacing Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari.

Vergne is 21 and yet to race in Formula 1 although he did take part in a couple of practice sessions this year.He makes the jump up from World Series by Renault.

While Ricciardo is 22 raced 11 times this year for HRT and was faster than Liuzzi fairly quickly,it must be said Liuzzi is not that good if we are been honest.

So obviously a serious lack of experience and a huge gamble in my opinion, yes both drivers have talent for sure but with the midfield so close these days so every point counts and the races where Vergne has to learn how to manage the Pirelli tyres and everything else, could cost them championship positions and the lower down you are,the less $$$$$ you get.

Personally I would have had Ricciardo and Alguersuari, why you may ask, well Daniel has talent and crucially has done 11 races on the pirelli tyres, unlike Vergne, while Jaime drove very well in the second half of the year and deserved another year in my opinion and would be one driver with a good bit of experience and talent and the other and up and coming talent.

Anyway we’ll see whether Toro Rosso’s gamble pays off and one of these drivers can step up and show how good they are to potentially replace Webber at RBR in 2013 or 2014.

Force India:On friday we found out Nico Hulkenberg and Paul Di Resta will be driving for Force India next year.

I wouldn’t be so worried about this line-up and i’m delighted to see Nico back in F1,this guy is serious talented as he show with his stunning pole lap at Interlargos in 2010 and showed it in practice this year as Vijay Mallya said.

Nico Hulkenberg,Pole Lap,Brazil 2010

Paul had a good rookie season and got up to speed quickly which impressed me and his drive in Singapore was really excellent but was beaten by Sutil in the championship standings.

Both guys clearly have talent but I think Mr Hulkenberg will have the edge over Paul because I feel Hulkenberg has the raw speed and the talent to be a World Champion this future but Paul for sure will push him hard because he certainly has talent as well, although not as good as the BBC think he was.

This is a really exciting line-up,one of the most exciting on the grid and Force India will move forward if they give these guys a good car next year.
